In just a matter of weeks instead of months, DexteraNet delivered a fully functional amendment management system that allows a congressional committee to continue their important work in the new reality of remote hearings due to COVID-19.  We were able to leverage our existing Legi-Mate® technologies to pivot to a committee need that, without a solution, would make it impossible to safely perform markup on critical bills in the current environment.  

Until now, the amendment process was paper based and required physically walking amendment submissions and revisions to the clerk.  Our new module incorporates the flexibility for committee members to electronically draft, submit, withdraw, and revise their amendments.  On the committee staff side of the equation, the entire management process of scoring, ordering, reviewing, bundling, and tracking the outcomes is made more efficient than ever.  

Coupled with our Legi-Mate® suite of committee centered applications, our clients in the U.S. House of Representative and the U.S. Senate have been able to continue work unfettered on complex bill and report language writing, receiving and managing legislative and policy requests from members, and more.
